Weekly Nail Polish: 7/5-7/12
I decided to give nail art another shot this week with an (in my opinion) uneven, flame type of design.
After an application of two coats of Essie's First Timer (a sea green shade), I lightly brushed a few strokes of Wet n Wild's Magic Trident (a glittery golden-orange shade) focusing on the bottom of my nails.
The finished look gives of a nice effect and I think it also plays with different lighting as well.
As always, I thank you for visiting my blog...have a nice week :)

Weekly Nail Polish: 6/30-7/5
I rarely have a theme for my manis/pedis, however, this week I was very excited to go patriotic and try my hand (no pun intended) at nail art.
What I'm wearing:
*Wet n Wild's Megalast in Root of All Evil (a Shimmery deep blue shade)
*Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in White Out (a pure white shade)
*Ciate's Mistress (a candy apple red shade)
For the designs, I actually used two different sized paper clips as dotting tools. Even though it's not perfect (I never claimed to be an artist), I still love how fun the look turned out.
As always, thank you for visiting my blog.
Have a happy and safe Independence Day!!!!! :)

Weekly Nail Polish: 6/14-6/21
Since I couldn't decide whether or not to go with a light or dark polish, I mixed.
What I'm wearing:
-Sinful Colors Unicorn-creamy yellow shade
-Sinful Colors New Wave-navy blue shade
-Wet n Wild Gold & The Beautiful-sparkly gold top coat on my ring finger
As always, thank you for visiting my blog :)

Weekly Nail Polish: 6/7-6/14
This week I decided to pair Wet n Wild's How I Met Your Magenta with Revlon's Whimsical...a nice and bright combination, unlike this dreary Jersey weather. But I digress......
As always, I thank you for visiting my blog :)

Weekly Nail Polish: 4/15-4/19
This week I'm wearing two polishes that I've been really excited to try out-Sally Hansen's Coral Reef (melon-pink) and Hard Candy's Gummy Green (glittery mint green).
I feel like this combo screams, "Go away cold weather!!!"
As always, thank you for visiting my blog :)
(p.s. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who were affected by the Boston tragedy.)

Weekly Nail Polish: 4/5-4/12
This week I'm embracing spring with a couple pastel polishes that I picked up last weekend-Royally Yours (a baby blue creme) and Creme Puffs (a cream shade with a pearly finish) both from L'Oreal's Versailles Romance Collection.
Now that the weather is finally starting to get warm, I feel like I'm able to have more fun with different nail colors.
As always, thank you for visiting my blog :)

Weekly Nail Polish: 3/29-4/5
This week I'm wearing Revlon's Girly, which is a sheer pink with chunky glitter...in my opinion, it makes my nails look a little like a mix between an Easter egg and a jelly bean
This was my first time trying this polish out and was a little disappointed in the way it came out, at least for a primary polish. I think next time I'll probably use this for an accent nail.
As always, I thank you for your support :)

Weekly Nail Polish: 3/22-3/29
This is my last week testing out Ciate' polishes...It's been fun but oh so long (about two months)...I really miss using other brands...
Anyway, I'm wearing Spending Spree, which is a metallic gold/lavender, depending on the way the light hits. After two coats, it's still lighter than in the bottle but I feel like it's really nice for Spring and actually reminds me a little of sand.
As always, thank you for checking in and stay tuned for a review of my Ciate' collection.

Weekly Nail Polish: 3/10-3/15
Anyway.. What picks up a mood better than sparkly glitter? This is why I used Heirloom from Ciate', which is a shade that really plays with the light. For the most part this comes off as a copper tone, otherwise it looks anywhere from pink to gold. It actually looked much darker in the bottle but it's actually a nice and bright.
I hope you're having a great week and enjoying the warmer weather :)

Weekly Nail Polish:2/22-3/1
This week I decided to try out Ciate's Dangerous Affair, which is a really pretty deep red. One of the reasons I love it so much is because it reminds me of the polish Cher wore in my all-time favorite movie Moonstruck. If you haven't seen it, I strongly recommend you do!

Weekly Nail Polish: 2/8-2/15
Winter Storm Nemo inspired me to try out Ciate's Looking Glass, which is a sparkly silvery polish. What I love is that depending on how the light hits, it also comes out looking anywhere from green to pink and remindes me a lot of how pretty snow can be.

Weekly Nail Polish: 2/1-2/8
This week I decided to go with Amazing Gracie by Ciate', which is a very lovely pale baby pink shade.
As much as I enjoy dark nails, wearing a lighter color, especially during the cold winter months, really helps to brighten my mood. I find that it also gives hope that eventually spring and summer will return.
As always, thank you for visiting and have a great week!

This Week's Nail Polish: 1/26-2/1
For my birthday week I decided to go with Ciate's Antique Brooch, which is an absolute gorgeous color involving tons of glitter. Depending on the way the light hits, it can look anywhere from yellow gold to a pretty lilac.
Unfortunately, no matter what kind of lighting I used, the picture just did not do this polish justice. You can get a better look at it here.

This Week's Nail Polish: 1/18-1/25
This week I really moved away from my comfort zone and decided to wear Mistress from Ciate' which is a pretty candy apple red. This just might be one of the only lighter red polishes that I currently own. I love the way this looks and have even received several compliments :)
You'll probably notice that my next several nail posts will involve Ciate' polishes...this won't be happening any time soon but keep an eye out for a review...
Have a great Thursday and try to keep warm.
As always, I thank you for visiting and supporting this blog :)

This Week's Nail Polish: 1/12-1/18
I was very exited to try out a new color that I picked up a few weeks ago from Wet n Wild, Root of All Evil, which is a very rich looking royal blue. On my ring fingers I made a little design using Deadly Dose, a really pretty gold....my only problem is the quality of this polish isn't the best compared to the many others from the Mega Last line, so I don't think it will be used as a base color.
Aside from that I really like the way my nails turned out this week...even with my sad attempt at art.
As always, thank you for visiting :P

This Week's Nail Polish: 1/5-1/11
Having felt summer-sick, I decided to mix a polish that was bought specifically for the cooler months with one that I reached for on multiple occasions through last spring and summer.
Luminary is a really pretty shimmery peach shade while Winter Wonder is a deep glittery tone that looks black or green depending on the way the light hits it....both are from Sinful Colors.
This was just my fun way of trying to beat the "winter blues"....that and a quick trip to Kohr's...
As always, I thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and hope you have a wonderful week :)

This Week's Nail Polish: 12/28-1/4
Ironically, the look I went with for this week also happened to be one that was featured in a recent video by MissJenFABULOUS.

Happy Holidaze & 2% Milk |

Dancer Is The Best Reindeer & Silvivor |
I started with a colorful take on the french manicure by using 2% Milk as the base color and Happy Holidaze, which is a glittery light blue, on the tips. On my ring fingers I used Silvivor as the base and a coat of Dancer is The Best Reindeer, a purple glitter. All the poishes are from Wet n Wild.
I thought this made a cute way to ring in the new year :)

This Week's Nail Polish: 12/14-12/21
This week I decided to go with Root of All Evil from Wet n Wild's Mega Last line (not sure if this is part of a new collection), which is a metallic deep blue tone, with Kaleidoscope (also W&W) focused mainly on the tips, which gives off a pretty snowy effect..
I've used several other glittery polishes from the brand, but I have to say, this is certainly one of my favorites!
I'm also continuing my use of the Perfect Formula kit and so far, I really like what these products have done for my nails. I intend on posting a full review once the 60 day period is over.
Thank you for visiting my blog and have a great week!
5 More days until TSO!!!!!!!!

Trying Something New + This Week's Nail Polish:12/7-12/14
Last week while watching one of the beauty shows on QVC, I ordered a 4 piece discovery set from Perfect Formula. I have been quite curious about this brand for a while and since it was a decent price, I decided to go for it. For those of you who are unfamiliar, it gears toward strengthening and conditioning nails. You can learn more about the company here.
The set comes with:
*Gel Coat (strengthening base coat)
*Pink Gel Coat (strengthening and brightening base coat)
*Daily Moisture (helps maintain moisture and balance)
*My Favorite Top Coat (high gloss top coat)
Note: These are not full sized, however, you do get 60 days worth of product.
Some of the reviews made me a little worried, however, so far after having used this for a few days, I'm liking it a lot and am interested to see exactly what each product can do over time. I'm thinking about revisiting this subject after the 60 day period is over.
If you're interested in this set, you can find it by clicking here.
You can also find Perfect Formula at the following locations:
*perfectformula.com
*qvc.com
*sephora.com
*Sephora
Onto my polish for the week-Since I used the Pink Gel Coat, I decided to top it with the pale pink Sugar Coat from Wet n Wild's Mega Last line. It's been a couple of days and they still look great!

This Week's Nail Polish: 11/30-12/7
Yay!!!!!! It's December!!!!!!!!!! Wooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!
(...annnnd I'm done.)
Anyway, this week I thought I'd pull out an oldie, but goodie (and somewhat forgotten) Wet n Wild polish-Silvivor, which is a really pretty and shimmery silver shade.I just love how fun this looks and always manages to make me happy and excited when I look down at my hands :)
What can be more of a winter/Christmas shade than silver???
I thank you for reading this and hope you're having a great day :)
